This piece was inspired partly by Philip Glass' composition 'Mad Rush'( excerpt). The piece is relatively simple to play and master, the difficulty being producing a truly musical and expressive performance.
The tempo markings are only an indication, feel free to play slower or faster (if you can) and copious amounts of rubato can be used especially throughout the slow sections.
