I wrote this march for brass band to celebrate the Pendeen lighthouse's protection of shipping off the UK Cornish coast (hence the 'patriotic' style of big tune).I arranged the piece for piano solo, violin and piano and for full orchestra. This version for strings and flute was arranged for my granddaughter who plays flute in Cornwall County Youth Orchestra which in 2006 toured Poland. Her twin sister plays 1st.violin (and clarinet) in the CCYO. In 2007 they both played with Cornwall youth wind band visiting Nevada City,Ca.
