Arbeau's famous Pavane is here arranged antiphonally for double brass choir with flexible instrumentation in the style of Gabrieli.
It was written originally for a large group of a Summer course but can also be performed successfully with only 8 players. Parts are included for F horn, tenor horn, baritone and euphonium and Eb bass as well as trumpets (or cornets), trombones and tuba. Trombone parts are also avalable in treble clef and could be covered by extra baritones &c. A (more difficult) version is also available for low brass choir.
