A reflective and poignant setting of the Passion Chorale from Bach’s predecessor at the Thomaskirche in Leipzig, Johann Kuhnau. Originally scored for solo organ the piece translates well to a wind quartet offering an expressive alternative. Separate parts for Flute, Oboe, Clarinet and Bassoon are available.
