A Short Percussion Concerto. A dialogue between the un-pitched percussion soloist at the pitched orchestra. A kind of pitched battle…

Work was premiered at "All Ears Festival" in London, UK on the 27th September 2008

Soloist : Gerard Rundle Orchestra: London Contemporary Chamber Orchestra Conductor: Alan Taylor

Originally written, by request, for solo percussion. That version proved impossible to play. However, it seemed a shame to waste the material, so, this version was born. The melodic parts (vibraphone, marimba, glockenspiel) were used as the basis of the orchestral parts.
