This is Pachelbel’s most well knwon piece of music.
Very popular at weddings.
Originally in D I have transposed it so the saxophone player remains in that key.
It is written for 4 similar saxes, so will work equally well for 4 altos or 4 tenors ( or even 4 sopranos or 4 baritones) A mix of 4 Eb or 4 Bb instruments may work but I have arranged it for 4 similar instruments. If you want to mix and match, by all means do so, but I have no responsibility for clashes fo notes or incorrect harmonies! But DO NOT MIX Eb and Bb INSTRUMENTS. I will upload a mixed arrangement idc.
Unlike other arrangements I have not given the bass line solely to the 4th player, which would be tedious in the extreme for that player, but have moved it around all the quartet. Similarly the tune moves around.
Even at a tempo of crothet/quartet note = 100 it is quite a long blow, so I suggest making cuts by omitting any of the lettered sections. If your quartet can play the whole piece! :Enjoy.
