Beethoven laboured long and hard over an overture to his opera Fidelio. Leonore No.3 is the most popularly played in the concert hall - being somewhat too long to start the opera itself! This version for Concert Band faithfully reproduces the sounds of the original, while giving plenty for the players to get stuck into.
As usual, parts for other instruments such as Trumpets in C are available on request, free of charge. Print all the parts as presented (including title pages) and the page turns will work, where they are possible.
