Outr means "beyond what is considered acceptable". So, what if Thelonius Monk played boogie woogie?

For me at least, this piece is experimental and beyond my usual area of interest. For that reason I have posted it on www.SibeliusMusic.com to see what sort of comments it attracts. It attempts to evoke the emotion of 'uncomfortable familiarity'.

Whilst I am a big believer in the 12-bar blues and jazz form, this is an attempt to vary the usual approach to the normal chord progression; to see where it ends up….and yet rely on a standard left-hand dominant boogie woogie riff.

It is, of course, not completed and will be developed much further when the mood takes me….or you?

The lyrics, consistent with the outr theme…contain too many expletives to be socially acceptable. Something like: "Stuff this, stuff that…", get the picture?
