This little piece is intended for use by a pupils in about Primary 7/Senior 1. The pitches are not determined exactly but roughly suggested (ie sprechgesang) which allows boys whose voices are breaking to be able to take part without worrying about pitch. The idea behind the piece is to explore using the voice as an instrument and applying different articulations - staccato and legato. Warm up your class with a variety of sounds and articulations before letting them loose with this. The next stage is for them to compose their own pieces - as individuals or in groups - using different vocals sounds, articulations etc
