First performed by Onyx Brass in a workshop at Guild Hall school of Music & Drama, this piece is a lively tango exploring dramatic cross rhythms. Each instrumentalist has its turn with the melody call apart from the tuba who’s ostinato keeps the traditional tango baseline throughout.
