"On the Clock" is a six part electronic music composition based on the biblical passage in Matthew 20: 1-7. It's intended that these pieces will be interpreted by dancers at a future church art collaborative showing. Behind the dancers will be six different paintings produced by visual artists in our group.
Six separate times are mentioned by Jesus in his story of the vineyard landowner and the workers that he hires. This first piece, "Early", is short. In it the landowner chooses his crew. I have arranged the electronic music for a small chamber orchestra.
