Ben Alder, the 19 year old arranger of this piece says, "Stephen C. Foster has composed many familiar folk songs for boys and girls. He composed 'Beautiful Dreamer', 'Camptown Races', this song ('Oh Suzanna') and many others. At the end you will hear a glissando, which ends the big finale."
