This setting of the theme from the last movement of Beethoven's ninth symphony for clarinet duet and piano is similar to the arrangement written previously for clarinet duet but this time avoiding for beginners the difficult break around B/Bb which they may not yet have mastered.The piece would be useful for a school recital when visitors from a European Union country are to be entertained because the Ode to Joy melody is also the anthem of the EU.
