There are a few syncopations in the top melody which I think keep the melody fresh. It’s perhaps a good way to teach 3/4 time superimposed upon 6/8 time with a melody they are probably familiar with.A larger handbell choir of more than 3 octaves might want to transpose down a little so the highest note in the original choral is not sacrificed.may be adapted for organ with a 16’pedal stop. the second L.H. note will have to go in the middle staff to avoid a muddy texture.
