I originally wrote this accompaniment for oboe, but made a few minor adjustments and adapted it to tenor sax for a friend. To me there is no more beautiful Christmas song than "O Holy Night". I love when it is played smoothly with feeling and lots of variety in volume. I didn’t mark dynamics, because I feel that the music and the message will dictate what is needed to make it "sing."
