Song: O come, o come, my dearest poem by W. Pritchard music composed by Thomas Arne.

Text

O come, o come, my dearest, and hither bring
Thy lips adorned with all the blooming spring.
A thousand, thousand sweets their fragrant atoms blend,
Which in a gale of joy thy breath attend.
Thy love in gentle murmurs to my soul apply,
Heal me with kisses or else I die.
