Here�s a little Christmas romp! Have your organist or pianist turn to Hymn 83 in the 1982 Episcopal Hymn Book (not included here because it�s probably under copyright), begin with the pickup to the last four bars for an introduction to bring the congregation in, and have them sing all six verses. This flute and violin obbligato should add some fun to the festivities. Sometimes we return to the melody for a time just so everyone doesn�t suffer from an intensity overload. These embellishments will probably work just as well if you use the Carol from other hymn books, but I haven�t checked.

I searched a number of websites to find the perfect obbligato part for "O Come All ye Faithful", and I found it here at Score Exchange. The fee was very affordable. I would purchase from this site again.
