This is a flute and piano arrangement of the traditional O' Come All Ye Faithful Christmastime carol. It is arranged with a short cantor entry by the piano, and a thrice-played hymn section that works with the familiar three congregational verses. The first repetition features the piano right hand only. The second adds the left hand. The third cues a unique flute obligato which mimics a choral descant. After the repetitions, the flute and piano play a lovely and short Plagal cadence outro(coda). This arrangement is a fresh take on the carol that easily assists congregational singing, but does not overwhelm with florid figures.
