Add a dash of the mysterious east to your string trio repertoire with Tchaikovsky’s Arabian Dance. It’s beautiful piece with a truly haunting quality. All parts should be played expressively with close attention to dynamics. The cello plays an ostinato throughout most of the arrangement. This may seem repetitive at first but it’s vital to the piece and very enjoyable to play when performed rhythmically and sympathetically to the upper parts.
This arrangement is suitable for both teacher and student workouts and short concert performances. Enjoy!
