"Nobody Knows the Trouble I've Seen" is a traditional Negro Spiritual that can be traced back to an 1865 diary in which the melody and words are written out along with the comment "this song is sung considerably in our schools" - in Charleston, South Carolina.

It has been recorded by many artists, most notably by the "Jazz Master", trumpeter and vocalist, the great Louis Armstrong.

Also arranged as an Oboe solo with piano accompaniment; and, for Woodwinds, Saxophones, Brass and Strings as solos and as ensembles. Please see my homepage for further details.
