A colleague of mine while preparing to attend an ANIM (Association of Nigerian Musicologist) conference at UNILAG (University of Lagos,) asked me to write a recital that he'll perform at the conference, taking the deplorable condition of art/academic music in the country I therefore wrote the work my colleague Chukwuma lneaga played a two bars tune with his Oja flute that I took home and wrote this work.
