This piece is for choir, strings and percussion. It makes extensive use of quarter tones, so it is very difficult for the performers. The text is based on various theories about the apocolypse, which no one really knows or understands anyway. Apocolyptic writing is actually a code which was directed to the people of the time it was written,who were being persecutted by The Emperor Nero, and not people 2000 years later. However off base or incorrect the theories of today may be, it does make for interesting subject matter.
