Luci Care Luci Belle means ’Eyes of Beauty, Eyes flashing bright’ and was composed in 1783 for three voices and three basset-horns. The basset-horn was one of Mozart’s favorite instruments and was closely related to clarinet. It is thought that Mozart composed this song for Jacquin family, who he was music teacher to. This is a very straightforward arrangement to learn - ideal for a beginner orchestra.
