An improvisation based on Chopin's harmonic and/or rhythmic language is not what this piece is all about but rather my improvisation tries to pick up on the physical, pianistic gestures of Chopin's Impromtu. Occasionally tho', you will hear bits of the immortal one emerging from the generally fluid, swirling textures of the music. The tempo could be slowed down a bit but in order to achieve a mentally unbalanced, moonstruck tipsy-ness/dizziness I would prefer sacrificing note-perfect accuracy and keeping the speed!
