Pope John Paul II visited Mexico City in 1976, and that sparked a lot of enthusiasm among the whole population, and I was gripped by it, which motivated me to write a mass in his honour. But I only managed to compose the first part of it, namely, the Kyrie, and to this date I still owe the rest of the mass, and right now, I do not see it coming forth. This is the version for male choir, i. e. TTBB.
