This little piano piece was inspired by the contemplation of changing weathers one afternoon in Cumbria (England), where I live. It was a typical wintry and rainy day at the end of the season, inducing feelings of sadness and melancholy. Suddenly the sky began to clear-up, as a ray of sunshine pierced the clouds. Somewhere in the distance a flock of birds took off. The next moment I was witnessing a beautiful day, the awaited annunciation of the spring to come. The heart livened-up and sang joyfully.
