This score is designed to encourage young kids to enjoy participating in music instead of just using it as a spectator sport. Four or more members of a children's class or audience participate on the wood blocks, ad libitum. (Don't use the scores for blocks–those scores are only there for the audio, to give an impression of how the kids will sound if they play randomly, clacking as fast as they can. Put a teacher or an older student or two, using the full score, on blocks along with the youngsters, to give them the idea and show them when to fade out to nothing.) The violin, steel drums and marimba are playable by older students who take lessons.
