I composed this piece initially with the thought of writing a 3 movement clarinet concerto. Very quickly I discovered this piece was not turning out to be a concerto in terms of structure. Instead I realize this piece was more of a fantasy of how I felt about life having it's ups and downs. (I guess any piece of music tries to show that in some way.) I hope you enjoy this piece, I am planning on revising it to make it more reader friendly to both the conductor and performer.
