This Scottish song is based on the hanging of Jamie McPherson who was hung on the 16th November 1700 at Banff. Folklore claims that he played his fiddle whilst waiting for his reprieve, but it came to late.
I have also added in a bit of Auld Lang Syne as it fits in wonderfully. I hope you enjoy singing this piece.
