'Marianne or the Seven Deadly Sins' was created by Tim and Jill Green, with music by Tim Green and Nigel Waugh. It was written for middle school (11-13) age pupils to perform. The songs were first performed with many of the sounds played on computer, (although we did enjoy the services of a real guitarist). I would hope that future performances are possible with a minimum of piano and solo voice/unison voices, plus a backing track.
'Gluttony' is a song about insatiable hunger. Each verse rises a semitone in pitch to express his ever-growing greed. It would be fabulous to have real saxophones to play this - but that's probably a pipedeam!
