Back in 1984, I have been asked to create a new melody and setting to the old ’Maria durch ein Dornwald ging’ - Christmas Traditional in the style of Renaissance/early Baroque for 4 part choir. Recently, I’ve digitalized the piece and changed the cantus, altus and bassus part to brass instruments in order to accompany a schola, who sing the cantus firmus. Enjoy!
