This traditional march includes tunes that are associated with Scouting, beginning with Ging, Gang Gooli, the classic Scouting song. A bass solo with the tune Launch Out Into the Deep is included as reference to the composer's love of canoeing as well as our need to rely on God as we let the shorelines in our lives go and trust Him in all we do, especially as we are called into the unknown. The trio section features This is My Father's World before finally modulating into two Canadian paddling songs which are traditionally sung together: My Paddle's Keen and Bright and Land of the Silver Birch.
