This piece was written on the departure of my first Vicar at Moseley Parish Church. He had been a great supporter of the music and was no mean organist himself! It lay in manuscript form for a while before being taken up by other choirs at which point I revised it. This copy is the latest version, revised 2006. It has had airings in Norwich Cathedral, Bath Abbey, Birmignham Cathedral and in summer 2006 will travel to Washington National Cathedral, USA.
