You are purchasing high quality sheet music PDF files suitable for printing or viewing on digital devices.Love on the Levels is set of songs are taken from the collection "Folk Songs from Somerset" published in 1904 by Cecil Sharp. The first, Bridgwater Fair, is a traditional setting. The second, The Drowned Lover keeps the original melody and words but the harmonies are much more developed. The third, The Witch of Wookey Hole uses two folk melodies but the words are new and tell of a Somerset legend. Scored for the famous "Shepherd on the Rock" combination of Soprano, Clarinet and Piano, movements are also available individually. The "Levels" in question are the Somerset Levels, a low lying area historically prone to flooding.
