LORD GOD OF EVENING has the set of worship lyrics and melody originally written by Rev. Richard A. Fryxell in 1957. His untimely passing in 1960 placed most of his music on "hold". Though there were performances of his music, the music was never copyrighted. I augmented and revised this piece, having been given written permission from his widow. LORD GOD OF EVENING is a hymn that is appropriate for a solemn evening or funereal service. Of any printing and/or performing of this piece, Ivan Nagy (ivan@ancient.org) wishes to be notified and a program sent to him.
