Unusually I have written a song for an adult, my father, to fill a slot in his Christmas Carol concert! It was written specifically to suit his voice but, despite being sub-titled "Joseph's song", could equally be sung by an alto. I've kept it in the bass clef simply so that the original intention can be heard more easily. The song is tender and expressive as Joseph considers the small baby in his arms. It went down well in the concert, I hope it may be useful to some others too!
