The music is inspired by "Shadows in the Mirror" a fractal art video by Lilia Morales y Mori.

The video is based on different "environments", or pictures, separated by a repeated picture as an "intermezzo".

So, the structural idea of the music consists of different brief musical pictures, like at an exhibition, separated by a "promenade". The structure and the title of the music is consciously inspired by Mussorgsky’s "Pictures at an Exhibition", but music is entirely original.

Melodies are performed using an ethnic ensemble: Flute, Low Whistle, Pan Flute, Ethnic Drums, Drum Set, Triangle, Violin, Solo Female Voice, Female Choir.

"Violet twins"
