I have written this arrangement of the famous tune for five mixed voices some years ago (Jazz Choir-High School-Vienna/Austria) and meanwhile it was performed by various choir ensembles several times. It works well. Arranging for five voices allows a dense harmonization (usually in spreads), because the different tensions added to the guide tones provide for strong and interesting jazz voicings. However the single parts are melodious and can be learned easily.
