An easy SAB anthem for a service of blessing of the animals, or possibly harvest thanksgiving, the words reflect themes from St Francis, and would be appropriate for St Francis-tide. Based upon the familiar Welsh melody "The Ash Grove", the organ accompaniment provides interest to what otherwise is a straight-forward setting.
