In my last suite for brass, the Film Music Suite, I tried to achieve as much contrast between the movements as possible. With "Legend" I tried for more of a relationship between the movements. The suite tells a story but I would rather the players and audiences use their imagination than a programme note provided by me. If this work is to be used for contests the second movement can be omitted. If you require trombone, baritone or tuba parts in bass clef or parts for horns in F please e-mail the composer.
