This score consists of two pieces using the same melody and chords, with different lyrics. Both are appropriate for Lent or at other times when turning to God for love and grace from our humility is the message and feeling desired. The pieces can be treated separately: the first (Lay Down Your Sin) is SATB and has a Taize-like feel to it, to be repeated ad libitum; the second (I Reach for Grace) is the same musically except it is just a solo line. Or, they could be combined into one piece, with I Reach for Grace serving as verses and Lay Down Your Sin as the chorus. Both pieces have chords written for accompaniment.
