François Anatole Laurent de Rillé (24 November 1828 – 26 August 1915) was a French composer, writer, and musical theorist. He was associated with the "Orphéonist" movement, which aimed to promote music among the popular classes by establishing male choir associations. De Rillé composed numerous operettas and sacred music works, but he is best known for his contributions to choral music.

One of his notable compositions is "L'assaut". This piece is a powerful and dramatic work that showcases de Rillé's skills. The composition is characterized by its strong rhythmic drive and emotional intensity.
