This largo comes from Bach’s Sonata in C for unaccompanied violin. The original is in F, and the harmony is achieved by a lot of double stopping, sometimes above and sometimes below the melody line (which, in this arrangement, is shared by the euphoniums.) Very little has been added to the original score, though some harmony notes have been lengthened or characterised. I am indebted to Mike Lyons for advice on brass technique and acoustic pitfalls.
