Fireworkmusic without trumpets - here work high flutes and clarinets replacing trumpets. High violins+flutes+clarinets gives a really trumpet-like sound (OK, with less noise). The trick is the high flute-octave; therefore first flute is the most difficult voice in this easy but highly representativ-sounding music-piece. The horn-part could be replaced by tenor-trombones, they reach easily c2. The trumpet is optinal (I have none), the timpanis are mandatory (You will really notice the difference). Kettle drums (or a snare) may go with timpani.
