Arranged in honor of Le jour de le prise de Bastille, 14 Juillet 2013. Originally titled "Chant de guerre pour l’Armée du Rhin" ("War Song for the Army of the Rhine"), "La Marseillaise" was composed by Claude Joseph Rouget de l’Isle in 1792 and adopted as national anthem of the French Republic in 1795. The song was named for having been first sung by local revolutionaries on the streets of Marseille. (Source: Wikipedia) Vive la France!
