You are purchasing high quality sheet music PDF files suitable for printing or viewing on digital devices. This piece is intended entirely for fun and comedic effect.
Beginning at bar 108, the horn starts a semi-serious cadenza and, apparently, intends to play for an extended amount of time. The other players should show increasing irritation until the bassoonist (or closest player) takes a page of music from the horn players stand, looks at it and tosses it over his/her shoulder. When the horn responds with "Mary Had a Little Lamb", the flutist angrily admonishes the horn. The horn responds "mwa-mwa" as if to say, "Sorry", and then continues to finish the piece.
To enhance the comedic effect, the formatas marked "lunga" should be extra long. All parts should be very light, except for the horn, who is obviously "milking" his/her chance to be heard.
Please enjoy this little diversion. Feel free to add anything that will enhance it's comedic effect.
As always, comments or suggestions are welcome. (And, yes, I play horn.)
