It's just another day,
In my life for now;
Come with me away,
And daydreams allow.
The road isn't long,
Hidden in a distance;
It's only a song,
Needing acquaintance.
Refrain
Tell me please tell me,
Has it a dreamy quality?
Tell me yes tell me,
Are its fluffy wings free?
It's just another song,
In summer's beauty sow;
I know it won't be long,
Till reality it will bow.
Both my eyes and ears,
Have seen and heard much;
To some my soul adheres,
To others loses touch.
Repeat Refrain
In the book 'The Beatles Complete Scores' which is fast becoming
the de facto standard,
especially in popular writing, the leading voice line is always
at the top staff and the drum
part always at the bottom, everything else is in between. For
example the song 'Yesterday'
goes like this, from top to bottom: Vocal/Guitar/Others/Bass/Drums,
in most recent scores
I try to follow these standard procedures.
I try to have the instrument names 'General MIDI sound set' and drums follow the 'General MIDI percussion map'
