It is used with the text "Come, thou long-expected Jesus" and "Love divine, all loves excelling" among others. The title of this arrangement is from the last line of one of the stanzas of "Come, thou Long Expected Jesus." This arrangement is another for those family fireside hymn-sings: "Hymns at Home". Instruments could be substituted: flutes for recorders, bassoon for cello, piano for harp or harpsichord, mandolin for guitar, etc. The idea is that everyone is involved. And hopefully it is nice to listen too, as well.
