In this arrangement, celebrating the 200th anniversary of the restoration of the true Church of Jesus Christ, I wanted to create - through the use of richly sustained chords - the serene and reverent atmosphere of the grove where Joseph Smith knelt and prayed . Likewise, the triplet rhythmic figures portray the awe and wonder Joseph must have felt as he gazed heavenward.
