After hearing Vikingur Olafsson play his version of this piece (originally for solo alto voice and strings) on the radio, I was prompted to make my own.
For those of us without Vikingur's astonishing part-playing ability I've put the alto line up by an octave in places to disentangle it from the accompaniment.
